GENERATIONS. RECONCILIATION. REVELATION.

Letter from Pastor Chuck

I’m writing to recap what was shared on Vision Sunday and lay out our plans moving forward. First of all, thank you! Thank you for all of the ways you helped us reach so many milestones for Vision 2020! 1 Thessalonians 3:9 rings true for what we accomplished…”because of you we have great joy when we enter God’s presence!” Paul was writing to the church in Thessalonica commending them for their generosity and involvement in moving the church forward. Again, look what we’ve accomplished together!

Below are the focus areas for 2021, so you can put them on your prayer list. Ask God what He would have to do in this new season to reach for the vision we’ve set for this year.

AUDIO-VIDEO-LIGHTING UPGRADE (AVL)
Since moving into the Arts Center in 2017, we’ve made very few improvements to our AVL setup. It’s basically the same system we moved to the Mann School Elementary auditorium. It’s time to upgrade that equipment. We’ve received quotes on the initial stages of proper installation of the speakers and lighting fixtures. We also have quotes on a LED Wall to replace the current screen and projector setup. Finally, we’re currently working with acoustic engineers to remedy sound and amplification issues in the auditorium. The AVL upgrade resonates with our vision and focus on generations. Current project cost: $125,000

FREE CHURCH + CENTURY COFFEE ROASTERS COLLABORATION
We’ve partnered with Century Coffee Roasters for almost 2 years now, providing the best coffee experience on Sundays. We want to expand the opportunity to provide excellent coffee not just on Sundays but during the week. The expanded Coffee Bar will feature a full lineup of options from espresso to lattes and beyond. Current project cost: $25,000

ARTS CENTER ACADEMY
Having secured the building and completed the initial phase of improvements, we’re turning our attention to the Arts Center Academy. Our dream of developing the brightest and best in performing and visual arts remains close to our hearts. We believe our next step is to hire an Executive Director to oversee and run the initial stages of development and class offerings. Fall 2021 we intend to offer classes in a range of disciplines from music to sound production. Current project cost: $50,000

In order to help us reach our goals we’ll join together and bring three Vision 2021 Offerings throughout the year. Here are the dates for these offerings so you can pray, plan, and prepare to give as the Lord directs you:

Sunday, May 2 (Past)
Sunday, August 1
Sunday, November 28

You’ll receive updates as we move forward. I’m praying God’s best for you in the days and weeks ahead! May God receive all of the glory for what He’s doing in us and through us!

We’ll see you Sunday!
